Wait for the water flow to stop, insert the provided allen wrench into the hole on the center of the green face plate. Turn right to decrease flow duration, turn left to increase flow duration.
Slightly increase the water flow. A certain level of pressure is needed to activate the auto shut off.
The EcoToucH20 has 15/16” male threads and should fit most faucets.
We see a typical reduction of up to 48%; some customers will see much more. Your individual savings will depend upon how the flow regulator is set, your household’s water pressure, your household size and your personal habits. For example, when setting the flow regulator to its minimum flow rate, the EcoToucH20 will flow as low as 1.3 gallons per minute if you have a pressure of 60 psi. A data point from the EPA states by shutting the water off during brushing your teeth, you can save 4 gallons of water each time. A family of four who brush twice daily can save almost 12,000 gallons of water in a year.
Remove the filter screen, remove the chip with a tweezers or needlenose pliers, rotate the chip to the desired flow; the smaller the flow space, the higher the savings. Reinstall the filter screen. See video for more detailed instructions. (see video below)
